Lift Foils Camber Pro Wings Review

The Lift Camber wings are the latest series edition to Lift’s wing lineup. They’re quick and light, designed to cruise faster than the surf wings. Yet they’re smooth enough on turns so you’re still in control while ripping blazing speeds.

The Camber pro series lineup of wings are versatile and offer good carving and maneuverability. Lift just came out with them this year and they’re really excited.

They’re not necessarily better than their surf wing v2’s they’re different and offer different performance. The surf v2’s are stable at lower speeds and able to. What sets the camber pro wings apart from the other wings is…well camber.

Explaining cambered airfoil

But what is Camber? Camber is relationship of the top curve of the wing with the bottom curve of the wing, the camber pro has a lower camber. These go faster and really slick, with less drag in the water. The wing gives faster more drawn out turns compared to their other wing series.

High camber vs low camber

  • Low Camber is more streamline faster and straight
  • Higher camber curves down and cuts down

So in essence, they’re quicker and more streamlined through the water.

What are Front Wings Again?

Front wings are one of the single most important decision you make when purchasing an efoil.

Front wings control the speed, stability, and maneuvers of your eFoil. In case you still didn’t check out our post, here’s a refresher on front wings

Here’s the TL;DR:

  • Larger wings – slower take off speed, easier to control, more drag, better for entry level riders and heavier folks
  • Smaller wings – quicker take off speeds, tighter turns, less drag, better for expert riders
  • Aspect ratio – wings with a high aspect ratio wing will have less drag
  • Surface area – The number on the wing shows the volume in square inches
