Alternatives to Buy eFoils Instead of Buy Now, Pay Later
Buy Now, Pay Later has been great for eFoil enthusiasts but unfortunately not all of the eFoil brands offer it.
The good news is most eFoil surfboard producers accept all major debit, credit cards and bank transfers. Most riders opt to use a bank transfer or a debit card instead of credit card financing to avoid fees and interest rates.
However, those who opt for credit card financing must check with the brand to ensure that they accept the card. The reason some eFoil brands may not accept your credit card is due to high transaction fees.
American Express is guilty of this which is why many restaurants choose not accept their cards.
The Reason eFoils are So Expensive
eFoils carry a heavy cost because the materials required to produce them must be waterproofed, there is a limited number of skilled board makers, and there’s even less brands building them.
Heavy costs paired with skilled laborers needed to produce eFoils makes for an expensive board. It also doesn’t help that there is a few brands able to produce quality eFoil surfboards.
We covered more on this in a previous article. To give you an idea, according to Lift just to get a demo it costs $250. However, this may vary depending on demo location to location basis across the globe.
The good news is if you choose to buy an eFoil the $250 you spent on the demo will be applied to the purchase of the eFoil.
Think of it as a downpayment towards your brand new eFoil!
Should I Get a Demo Before I Buy an eFoil?
Yes. Each brand of eFoil has its quirks and imperfections. It’s better to learn with a professional than by yourself after you already footed the bill.
Lift offers a try before you buy program with over 300 demo locations worldwide. Demo locations are available in Asia, Australia, United States, New Zealand, South America, Europe, and Africa.
With that many locations in just about every continent You get 90 minutes with a world class trainer to show you how to use an eFoil the correct way without having to figure it out on your own.
If you surf, skate, or snowboard, eFoiling may come more naturally to you than someone who does not. Even if you don’t ride a board, don’t worry eFoiling is designed to be a user-friendly experience.
Should I Use Buy Now Pay Later for My eFoil Purchase?
