The Sea Pig: 300 Surf V2

The Sea Pig is the universal wing for beginners if they can get their hands on it. Made by Lift Foils

This wing is called the Sea Pig for a reason. It’s not the fastest wing, has a lot of drag but it’s the perfect wing for new riders building confidence in their foiling abilities.

It’s a super stable foiling experience, maybe too stable. This front wing is similar to how long boards feel when riding them, super stable but won’t turn on a dime. However, it’s the perfect wing for beginners to ride and get comfortable with foiling because of the surface area and all the extra surface area.

We’re not quite sure what happened to the the 300 surf v2, they’re no longer available on Lift foils’ website and is only available on after market shops. You can buy the Sea Pig, here.

I reached out to Lift Foils, stay tuned for an update if they provide an answer. Our guess is it was too similar to the 250 and it made sense to discontinue the 300 based on rider feedback but we’ll let them answer!

Dimensions:

  • Aspect Ratio: 4.1
  • Area: 300 in2 / 1935 cm2
