SiFly eFoil Review: Europe’s New eFoil

In our SiFly eFoil review, we’ll be popping the hood on a relatively new competitor to the eFoil market.

This European eFoil called SiFly, is one of the most user friendly efoils on the water today. These eFoils are more buoyant and have higher volume than most eFoils.

Probably the most impressive thing about SiFly is the amount of different boards they have in their arsenal for how young the company is.

SiFly is headquartered and manufactured in Bulgaria with strong footholds in Euorpean and Middle Eastern markets. Amazingly enough, these eFoils are all 3-D printed. For better or for worse, this allows the SiFly team to crank out eFoils quickly.

SiFly is a young company but quickly making waves in a hurry with one of the most user friendly efoils on the market. Had we picked this up on our radar earlier, we would have put it in our 2023 buyers guide.

Who created the SiFly? Meet Alex Bachev

Alexander flying on his eFoil

Alexander Bachev, CEO and creator of SiFly, is a professional athlete in the Olympic sailing division formula kite. He’s also an 8x Bulgarian national champion and avid kite surfer.

Alexander also has a bachelor’s degree in Physics.

For those who don’t know, formula kite is one of the most exciting water sports. Kite surfers reach unfathomable speeds by capturing the wind and maneuvering hydrofoils.

Due to the amount of time needed to learn how to use the race craft and the expensive equipment.

After an adrenaline dump from racing in front of spectators, Alex thought to himself: “How can I make a hydrofoil that will let everyone enjoy this new sport without experience and heavy equipment.”

Where can I ride a SiFly eFoil?

You can fly anywhere you want with your SiFly but it’s only for sale in in Europe and the Middle East.

If you live in North America, South America or Australia, unfortunately you’ll have to buy online since there are no SiFly locations, yet.

SiFly has a wide network of demo locations and resellers across Europe and the Middle East. To view SiFly’s demo locations, click here.

SiFly eFoils: A Thrill for Everyone

Like we said, SiFly has an arsenal of eFoils but for our intents and purposes today, we’re going to cover the SiFly E.

Another added benefit of this eFoil is that the propeller is entirely covered, so you won’t have to worry about any injuries from the prop.

The SiFly E might as well be rated E for everyone because this is an eFoil that the whole family can enjoy together.

Does SiFly Have new Models coming out?

SiFly is currently in pre order for their new soft top board coming out soon.

Epic Foils take on SiFly

The SiFly team has put a sick collection of eFoil boards in a short amount of time.

It’s a relatively affordable price compared to other eFoils on the market and it doesn’t seem to have the awful complaints that Waydoo has gotten from their riders in their earlier days.

We hope you enjoyed our SiFly efoil review as much as we enjoyed writing it. We’ll keep you posted on other models and boards as they come out.

The future is bright for this team and we will watch them progress with great interest!
